The great thing about discount dog toys is that they can be found all over the place. Most cities have pet shops with a large selection of dog toys and often there are good deals to be found. A discounted dog toy doesn't mean it isn't safe or made from substandard materials, it often means that particular product or brand is being replaced. Most pet shops have a special area for discounted merchandise and you can always find some cool stuff you might have never heard of before.
Shopping around on the Internet is a great way to find discount dog toys and chews also. You may have to pay some shipping but dog toys aren't terribly expensive anyway. If your dog loves tennis balls but eventually tears all of the fuzz off, you can buy stronger ones in bulk on the Internet so you will never run out. The more you buy, the higher the discount you can receive at many sites. Even on the Internet though, the best deals are usually the discontinued items. Make sure you check those out.
Another good place to find discount dog toys is at your local dollar store. Most towns have one of these near them and even though they are full of garbage, the pet section is usually wonderful. The best thing about dollar stores is even if the toy sucks, it was just a dollar anyway. This gives you the freedom to try out many different types of dog toy at once and if your dog shows a certain preference, you can always upgrade the toys later.
